Virginia High School Soccer - Nottoway nudges Buckingham
May 7, 2025: Buckingham, VA 23921 In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Nottoway Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Buckingham Knights.
The Cougars (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA). The Chargers go into the James River outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Lunenburg Central was edged by Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA), 2-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Knights confront the Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 12. Buckingham will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Raiders go into the outing with a 7-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Chatham (Chatham, VA).
