The Clearview Clippers softball squad (Lorain, OH), was routed 19-2 in Wednesday's league contest with the host Firelands Falcons (Oberlin, OH)

With the triumph, Firelands improves its record to 8-9 on the year. The Falcons travel to North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH) to face the Rangers in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 8. The Rangers enter the contest with a record of 16-4. North Ridgeville lost 2-0 in their recent league contest against Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH)

The Clippers now hold a 4-16 record. They play next when they host Open Door Christian for a non-league contest on Monday, May 12. Clearview will face a Patriots squad coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Cuyahoga Heights (Cleveland, OH). The Patriots record now stands at 4-9.
