Michigan High School Softball - Edsel Ford bounces Western International
May 7, 2025: Detroit, MI 48209 The Edsel Ford Thunderbirds softball team scored 22 runs and held the host Western International Cowboys to 0 in the Thunderbirds non-league win on Wednesday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Annapolis for a non-league battle on Friday, May 9. Edsel Ford will confront a Cougars team coming off a 14-9 league win over Redford Union (Redford, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Western International moves to 1-12 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Melvindale (Melvindale, MI) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 13. The Cardinals come into the battle with a record of 12-8.
