The Lincoln Park Railsplitters softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Edsel Ford Thunderbirds to 7 in the Railsplitters league win on Wednesday.

The Railsplitters now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Allen Park for a Downriver battle on Monday, May 19. Lincoln Park will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI). The Jaguars record now stands at 25-6.

With the loss, Edsel Ford moves to 3-14 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Allen Park (Allen Park, MI) to confront the Jaguars in a Downriver battle on Thursday, May 15.
