The Greenfield-Central Cougars baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Pendleton Heights Arabians to 2 in the Cougars league win on Thursday.

The Cougars now hold a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Vernon for a Hoosier Heritage test on Tuesday, May 12. Greenfield-Central will play a Marauders team coming off a 2-0 league win over New Castle (New Castle, IN). The Marauders record now stands at 8-9.

With the defeat, Pendleton Heights drops to 11-6 on the year. The Arabians travel to Lebanon (Lebanon, IN) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 9. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 7-12. Lebanon won 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Western Boone (Thorntown, IN)
