The McHenry Warriors softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Central Rockets to 0 in the Warriors league win on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hampshire for a Fox Valley battle on Monday, May 11. McHenry will confront a Whip-Purs team coming off a 10-8 league win over Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL). The Whip-Purs record now stands at 17-6.

With the loss, Central moves to 9-13 on the season. The Rockets host Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 9.
