The Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) softball routed the visiting Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 12-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Knights (9-6) will now prepare for their bout against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL). The Bison go into the Mid-Suburban East bout with a 9-4 record. In their last bout, Buffalo Grove was routed by Palatine (Palatine, IL), 10-2, in a non-league bout.
