Illinois High School Softball - Seneca bounces Reed-Custer
May 8, 2021: Braidwood, IL 60408 Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Fighting Irish now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they host Henry-Senachwine for a Tri-County challenge on Tuesday, May 11. Seneca will face a Mallards squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Lowpoint-Washburn (Washburn, IL). The Mallards record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Reed-Custer falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Comets host Manteno (Manteno, IL) to face the Panthers in a challenge on Monday, May 10. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 7-1. Manteno won 16-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Donovan (Donovan, IL)
