Illinois High School Baseball - Lockport defeats Stagg
May 8, 2023: Lockport, IL 60441 Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL), 6-0 in a league test.
With the win, Lockport upgrades its record to 18-8 on the season. The Porters host Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL) to battle the Titans in a non-league test on Friday, May 12. The Titans come into the test with a record of 13-10. Glenbrook South lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL)
With the defeat, Stagg falls to 8-19 on the season. The Chargers travel to Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL) to battle the Raptors in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 9. The Raptors come into the test with a record of 6-10. Rich Township won 15-2 in their recent league test against Thornridge (Dolton, IL)
