The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Classical Purples (Providence, RI) and the host Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI), saw Classical's lacrosse team nudge Lincoln by a margin of 9-8.

The Purples (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Scituate (North Scituate, RI). The Spartans enter the Division 4 challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Scituate was tipped by Coventry (Coventry, RI), 12-10, in a league challenge.
