May 8, 2023: Amherst, OH 44001 In Monday's league outing, the host Steele Comets softball team scored a close 6-3 win over the Berea-Midpark Titans.
Coming up next, the Comets encounter the Elyria Pioneers (Elyria, OH) in a Southwestern outing, on Friday, May 12. Steele will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Pioneers enter the outing with a 6-9 record after their 15-2 league loss to Midview (Grafton, OH).
The Titans (16-4) will now prepare for their outing against Keystone (La Grange, OH). The Wildcats enter the non-league outing with a 20-1 record. In their last outing, Keystone tipped Clearview (Lorain, OH), 19-1, in a league outing.
