Maine High School Softball - Bucksport bounces Orono
May 8, 2023: Orono, ME 04473 The Bucksport Golden Bucks routed the host Orono Riots softball squad by a final score of 15-2 in Monday's league battle.
The Golden Bucks (8-0) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME). The Trojans go into the non-league battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Mount Desert Island was routed by Old Town (Old Town, ME), 4-0, in a league battle.
The Riots now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Greater Houlton Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 10. Orono will meet a squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME). The record now stands at 2-1.
