Washington High School Softball - Capital can't get by River Ridge
May 8, 2023: Lacey, WA 98513 In Monday's league contest, the River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA) softball team held off the visiting Capital Cougars (Olympia, WA), by a margin of 9-8.
With the triumph, River Ridge moves its record to 10-9 on the year. The Hawks host Yelm (Yelm, WA) to play the Tornados in a 3A South Sound contest on Wednesday, May 10. The Tornados come into the contest with a record of 9-9.
In their next game, the Cougars play the Central Kitsap Cougars (Silverdale, WA) in a 3A South Sound contest, on Thursday, May 11. Capital will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 10-0 league loss to Peninsula (Gig Harbor, WA).
