May 8, 2023: Cato, NY 13033 The Cato-Meridian Blue Devils softball team (Cato, NY), was routed 13-8 in Monday's league test with the visiting Port Byron Panthers (Port Byron, NY)
Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Skaneateles Lakers (Skaneateles, NY) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 10. Port Byron will attempt to improve on its 10-2 season record. The Lakers enter the test with a 1-12 record after their 6-5 league loss to Homer (Homer, NY).
The Blue Devils (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Ludden (Syracuse, NY). The Gaelic Knights enter the Section 3 Patriot test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Bishop Ludden was routed by Onondaga (Nedrow, NY), 16-1, in a league test.
