Virginia High School Softball - Page County bounces Clarke County
May 8, 2023: Berryville, VA 22611 The Page County Panthers (Shenandoah, VA) softball routed the host Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA), 5-0 in Monday's league bout.
The Panthers (14-3) will now prepare for their bout against Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA). The Falcons go into the non-league bout with a 10-8 record. In their last bout, Central Woodstock held off Rappahannock County (Washington, VA), 18-1, in a non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Madison County for a Bull Run bout on Wednesday, May 10. Clarke County will confront a Mountaineers squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 3-10.
