New York High School Softball - South Jefferson bounces Watertown
May 8, 2023: Adams, NY 13605 South Jefferson Spartans (Adams, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Watertown Cyclones (Watertown, NY), 11-1 in a league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Indian River for a Section 3 Frontier A challenge on Tuesday, May 9. South Jefferson will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 13-12 league win over Carthage (Carthage, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 6-4.
In their next game, the Cyclones play the Carthage Comets (Carthage, NY) in a Section 3 Frontier A contest, on Tuesday, May 9. Watertown will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Comets come into the contest with a 2-8 record after their 13-12 league loss to Indian River (Philadelphia, NY).
