May 8, 2024: Maple City, MI 49664 Glen Lake Lakers (Maple City, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Kingsley Stags (Kingsley, MI), 10-1 in a league test.
With the win, Glen Lake upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Lakers travel to St. Francis (Traverse City, MI) to battle the Gladiators in a non-league test on Saturday, May 11. The Gladiators come into the test with a record of 9-5. St. Francis won 10-0 in their recent league test against Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI)
With the defeat, Kingsley falls to 11-3 on the season. The Stags host Cadillac (Cadillac, MI) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, May 9. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 5-4.
