Downingtown West Whippets (Downingtown, PA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA), 16-2 in a league test.

The Whippets now have a 17-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coatesville for a Ches-Mont test on Thursday, May 9.

In their next game, the Vanguards face the Henderson Warriors (West Chester, PA) in a Ches-Mont test, on Thursday, May 9. Sun Valley will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 13-7 league loss to Downingtown East (Exton, PA).
