The Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA) softball routed the visiting Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA), 6-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Rangers (13-3) will now prepare for their bout against Columbia Montour Vo-Tech (Bloomsburg, PA). The Rams go into the Mid-Penn D4 bout with a 2-14 record. In their last bout, Columbia Montour Vo-Tech was routed by Millville (Millville, PA), 29-17, in a league bout.

The Griffins now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Sayre for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 11. Sullivan County will confront a Redskins squad coming off a 15-4 non-league loss to Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA). The Redskins record now stands at 3-9.
