May 8, 2024: Wauzeka, WI 53826 Wauzeka-Steuben Hornets (Wauzeka, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Seneca Indians (Seneca, WI), 11-1 in a league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 16-2 record. They take the field next when they host Kickapoo for a Ridge & Valley challenge on Thursday, May 9. Wauzeka-Steuben will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 9-2 league loss to Ithaca (Richland Center, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Seneca falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Indians travel to North Crawford (Soldiers Grove, WI) to battle the Trojans in a Ridge & Valley challenge on Thursday, May 9. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 1-11.
