Dickinson Midgets (Dickinson, ND) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Bismarck Demons (Bismarck, ND), 5-4 in a league match.

With the triumph, Dickinson advances its record to 11-1 on the season. The Midgets travel to West Fargo (West Fargo, ND) to battle the Packers in a non-league match on Friday, May 9. The Packers come into the match with a record of 5-4. West Fargo won 6-5 in their recent non-league match against Shanley (Fargo, ND)

The Demons now have a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mandan for a Class A - West Region match on Saturday, May 10. Bismarck will battle a Braves squad coming off a 10-2 league win over St. Mary's Central (Bismarck, ND). The Braves record now stands at 8-5.
