In Thursday's league game, the visiting First Colonial Patriots baseball team scored a close 9-2 win over the Tallwood Lions.

The Patriots (16-2) will now prepare for their game against York (Yorktown, VA). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, York was overwhelmed by Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA), 5-0, in a league game.
