New York High School Baseball - Onondaga edges Mater Dei Academy
May 8, 2025: Syracuse, NY 13204 In Thursday's league game, the visiting Onondaga Tigers baseball team scored a close 4-2 victory over the Mater Dei Academy Saints.
The Tigers (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Bishop Grimes (East Syracuse, NY). The Cobras enter the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Bishop Grimes held off Hannibal (Hannibal, NY), 6-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Saints face the Tully Black Knights (Tully, NY) in a Section 3 Patriot - American game, on Friday, May 9. Mater Dei Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Black Knights enter the game with a 3-4 record after their 1-0 league loss to Lafayette (LaFayette, NY).
