Medina Battling Bees (Medina, OH) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH), 5-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, Medina advances its record to 15-4 on the season. The Battling Bees host Tallmadge (Tallmadge, OH) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Saturday, May 10. The Blue Devils come into the match with a record of 7-11. Tallmadge lost 14-4 in their recent league match against Highland (Medina, OH)

The Cardinals now have a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University School for a non-league match on Friday, May 9. Mentor will battle a Preppers squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over St. John (Ashtabula, OH). The Preppers record now stands at 18-2.
