In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Olympia Spartans baseball team scored a nice 13-0 win over the Prairie Central Hawks.

The Spartans (11-14) will now prepare for their game against Monticello (Monticello, IL). The Sages go into the non-league game with a 23-4 record. In their last game, Monticello knocked off Rantoul (Rantoul, IL), 6-3, in a league game.

Next, the Hawks play the Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 9. Prairie Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-20 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 12-10 record after their 12-0 league loss to Eureka (Eureka, IL).
