The Clinton Comets (Clinton, NY) lacrosse routed the visiting Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils (Verona, NY), 11-3 in Thursday's league outing.

The Comets now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host East Syracuse-Minoa for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 13. Clinton will face a Spartans squad coming off a 16-4 non-league loss to Fulton (Fulton, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Vernon-Verona-Sherrill falls to 1-4 on the year. The Red devils travel to New Hartford (New Hartford, NY) to face the Spartans in a Section 3 TVL- East outing on Friday, May 9.
