The Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA) lacrosse routed the host Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA), 13-5 in Thursday's league outing.

The Chieftains now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Manchester Essex for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 10. Masconomet Regional will face a Hornets squad coming off a 9-7 league win over Lynnfield (Lynnfield, MA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Winthrop falls to 4-2 on the year. The Vikings host Gloucester (Gloucester, MA) to face the Fishermen in a Northeastern outing on Monday, May 12. The Fishermen go into the outing with a record of 2-2.
