May 8, 2025: Oshkosh, WI 54902 Appleton North Lightning (Appleton, WI) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Oshkosh West Wildcats (Oshkosh, WI), 7-3 in a league game.
With the triumph, Appleton North improves its record to 3-3 on the year.
The Wildcats now hold a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Fond du Lac for a Fox Valley Association game on Friday, May 9. Oshkosh West will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Kaukauna (Kaukauna, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-7.
