The Malvern Hornets softball squad (Malvern, OH), was routed 21-2 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Conotton Valley Rockets (Bowerston, OH)

With the triumph, Conotton Valley improves its record to 22-2 on the year. The Rockets host Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH) to face the Trojans in a non-league contest on Monday, May 12. The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 20-1. Tuscarawas Valley won 16-3 in their recent non-league contest against Carrollton (Carrollton, OH)

The Hornets now hold a 4-17 record. They play next when they travel to Bridgeport for a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 14. Malvern will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-7.
