Virginia High School Softball - West Point bounces King & Queen Central
May 8, 2025: King & Queen Court House, VA 23085 The West Point Pointers softball team scored 18 runs and restricted the host King & Queen Central Royal Tigers to 0 in the Pointers league victory on Thursday.
The Pointers (11-7) will now prepare for their match against Mathews (Mathews, VA). The Blue Devils go into the Tidewater match with a 8-8 record. In their last match, Mathews gained a win over Northampton (Eastville, VA), 16-9, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Royal Tigers battle the Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA) in a Tidewater match, on Tuesday, May 13. King & Queen Central will attempt to better on its 0-14 season record. The Chargers go into the match with a 11-6 record after their 8-1 league loss to King William (King William, VA).
