May 8, 2025: Franklin, PA 16323 The Rocky Grove Orioles triumphed over the visiting Lakeview Sailors softball squad by a count of 7-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Orioles play the West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 9. Rocky Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Big Reds enter the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 9-3 league loss to Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA).
The Sailors (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA). The Rockets enter the non-league challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, Slippery Rock was routed by Sharon (Sharon, PA), 17-0, in a league challenge.
