The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Chenango Valley Warriors (Binghamton, NY) and the host Seton Catholic Central Saints (Binghamton, NY), saw Chenango Valley's baseball team get by Seton Catholic Central by a tally of 4-3.

The Warriors (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Oneonta (Oneonta, NY). The Yellowjackets enter the Section 4 Southern Tier - East battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Oneonta held off Susquehanna Valley (Conklin, NY), 13-4, in a league battle.

Next, the Saints face the Moravia Blue Devils (Moravia, NY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 9. Seton Catholic Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a 11-2 record after their 10-3 non-league win over Tioga (Tioga Center, NY).
