In Friday's league match, the host Pleasant Valley Vikings softball team scored a nice 16-2 win over the Foothill Cougars.

The Vikings (18-2) will now prepare for their match against Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA). The Spartans come into the match with a 19-4 record. In their last match, Red Bluff was routed by Shasta (Redding, CA), 9-8, in a league match.
