The Bracken County Polar Bears softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Scott Eagles to 4 in the Polar Bears non-league win on Friday.

The Polar Bears now possess a 14-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Cross for a non-league battle on Monday, May 11. Bracken County will confront a Indians team coming off a 18-7 non-league win over Bellevue (Bellevue, KY). The Indians record now stands at 6-16.

With the loss, Scott moves to 7-18 on the season. The Eagles travel to Notre Dame Academy (Park Hills, KY) to confront the Pandas in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 9. The Pandas come into the battle with a record of 9-10. Notre Dame Academy lost 11-0 in their recent non-league battle against Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY)
