California High School Softball - Willits held off by Credo

The Credo Gryphon softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Willits Wolverines to 13 in the Gryphon league win on Friday.

The Gryphon now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Potter Valley for a North Central II battle on Tuesday, May 12. Credo will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 26-17 league loss to Point Arena (Point Arena, CA). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Willits moves to 15-6 on the season. The Wolverines host Laytonville (Laytonville, CA) to confront the Warriors in a North Central II battle on Tuesday, May 12. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 9-3. Laytonville won 18-4 in their recent league battle against Tomales (Tomales, CA)
