In Friday's league test, the Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the host Mayfield Wildcats (Mayfield, OH), by a tally of 14-3.

Next, the Beavers clash with the Perry Panthers (Massillon, OH) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 13. Riverside will attempt to advance on its 21-3 season record.

The Wildcats (10-13) will now prepare for their test against South (Willoughby, OH). The Rebels go into the Western Reserve test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, South prevailed over North (Eastlake, OH), 15-2, in a league test.
