May 9, 2022: South Hamilton, MA 01982 The Hamilton-Wenham Regional Generals baseball team (South Hamilton, MA), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA)
The Sachems now hold a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Masconomet Regional for a Northeastern - North outing on Wednesday, May 11. Saugus will confront a Chieftains team coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Marblehead (Marblehead, MA). The Chieftains record now stands at 7-8.
Next, the Generals confront the Pentucket Regional (West Newbury, MA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, May 10. Hamilton-Wenham Regional will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The go into the outing with a 4-6 record after their 16-6 league loss to Triton Regional (Byfield, MA).
