Virginia High School Soccer - Surry County overwhelmed by Windsor
May 9, 2022: Windsor, VA 23487 The crowd at Monday's league test between the Windsor Dukes (Windsor, VA) and the visiting Surry County Cougars (Dendron, VA), saw Windsor's soccer squad beat Surry County by a count of 6-2.
The Dukes now hold a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Southampton for a Tri-Rivers test on Wednesday, May 11. Windsor will meet a Indians squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Brunswick (Lawrenceville, VA). The Indians record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Surry County drops to 3-8 on the season. The Cougars host Park View (South Hill, VA) to meet the Dragons in a Tri-Rivers test on Tuesday, May 10. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 10-2. Park View lost 4-2 in their recent league test against Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech (Petersburg, VA)
