Connecticut High School Softball - East Hartford bounces Hartford Public
May 9, 2022: East Hartford, CT 06118 East Hartford Hornets (East Hartford, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hartford Public Owls (Hartford, CT), 14-10 in a league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they host Plainville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 10. East Hartford will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 23-3 league win over Bulkeley (Hartford, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Hartford Public falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Owls host Bloomfield (Bloomfield, CT) to battle the Warhawks in a Central Connecticut - East challenge on Wednesday, May 11. The Warhawks enter the challenge with a record of 4-10. Bloomfield lost 15-1 in their recent league challenge against Tolland (Tolland, CT)
