May 9, 2023: Lone Pine, CA 93545 Lone Pine Golden Eagles (Lone Pine, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Trona Tornadoes (Trona, CA), 16-4 in a league test.
With the win, Lone Pine upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Lee Vining (Lee Vining, CA) to battle the Tigers in a Hi-Lo test on Thursday, May 11. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-0. Lee Vining won 13-3 in their recent league test against Trona (Trona, CA)
With the defeat, Trona falls to 3-10 on the season.
