Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) and the visiting Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), saw University's baseball squad knock off Preston by a count of 29-6.

Coming up next, the Hawks play the Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 10. University will attempt to move on its 19-9 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 16-12 record after their 8-6 league loss to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV).

The Knights now possess a 7-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buckhannon-Upshur for a Big Ten battle on Wednesday, May 10. Preston will play a Buccaneers squad coming off a 8-6 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Buccaneers record now stands at 14-12.
