Illinois High School Softball - Bloomington Central Catholic loses to Tri-Valley
May 9, 2023: Bloomington, IL 61704 The Tri-Valley Vikings softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Bloomington Central Catholic Saints to 1 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Tri-Valley improves its record to 16-7 on the year. The Vikings host Normal University (Normal, IL) to clash with the Pioneers in a non-league game on Friday, May 12. The Pioneers come into the game with a record of 25-6. Normal University won 18-3 in their recent league game against MacArthur (Decatur, IL)
In their next game, the Saints clash with the Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 11. Bloomington Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 15-12 season record. The Crusaders come into the game with a 18-6 record after their 6-2 league win over Putnam County (Granville, IL).
