Illinois High School Softball - Lexington topped by Tri-Valley
April 3, 2023: Lexington, IL 61753 In Monday's league contest, the Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL), by a margin of 12-2.
With the triumph, Tri-Valley moves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Vikings host Monticello (Monticello, IL) to play the Sages in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 4. The Sages come into the contest with a record of 3-3. Monticello lost 15-1 in their recent non-league contest against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL)
In their next game, the Minutemen play the Woodland Warriors (Streator, IL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 5. Lexington will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record.
