New York High School Softball - Johnsburg Central thwarted by Lake Placid
May 9, 2023: Lake Placid, NY 12946 The Johnsburg Central Jaguars softball team (North Creek, NY), was routed 13-3 in Tuesday's league test with the host Lake Placid Bombers (Lake Placid, NY)
Coming up next, the Bombers encounter the Chazy Eagles (Chazy, NY) in a Section 7 Mountain Valley test, on Thursday, May 11. Lake Placid will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 6-5 record after their 12-7 league loss to Boquet Valley (Elizabethtown, NY).
The Jaguars (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Indian Lake Central (Indian Lake, NY). The Indians come into the Section 7 Mountain Valley test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Indian Lake Central was routed by Bolton/Schroon Lake (Bolton Landing, NY), 16-0, in a league test.
