New York High School Softball - Lake Placid falls to Boquet Valley
May 4, 2023: Elizabethtown, NY 12932 In Thursday's league outing, the host Boquet Valley Griffins softball team scored a nice 17-2 win over the Lake Placid Bombers.
Coming up next, the Griffins battle the Chazy Eagles (Chazy, NY) in a Section 7 Mountain Valley outing, on Tuesday, May 9. Boquet Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 6-4 record after their 26-0 league loss to Crown Point (Crown Point, NY).
The Bombers (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Bolton/Schroon Lake (Bolton Landing, NY). The Wild Eagles enter the Section 7 Mountain Valley outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Bolton/Schroon Lake ran past Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY), 13-12, in a non-league outing.
