Missouri High School Soccer - Smithton nudges St. Paul Lutheran
May 9, 2024: Smithton, MO 65350 Smithton Tigers (Smithton, MO) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting St. Paul Lutheran Saints (Concordia, MO), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the Mid-Buchanan Dragons (Faucett, MO) in a Class 1 District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, May 14. Smithton will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 11-12 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO).
The Saints now possess a 0-14 record.
