May 9, 2024: Grand Rapids, MN 55744 Cloquet Lumberjacks (Cloquet, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (Grand Rapids, MN), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Lumberjacks now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Princeton for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10.
With the loss, Grand Rapids falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Thunderhawks travel to Superior (Superior, WI) to face the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Superior won 13-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Denfeld (Duluth, MN)
