Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars (Hinckley, MN) and the host Rush City Tigers (Rush City, MN), witnessed Hinckley-Finlayson's softball squad tip Rush City by a count of 4-2.

The Jaguars now sport a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to South Ridge for a non-league match on Friday, May 10. Hinckley-Finlayson will face a Panthers squad coming off a 15-2 non-league win over Mountain Iron-Buhl (Mountain Iron, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Rush City moves to 11-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Barnum (Barnum, MN) to face the Bombers in a non-league match on Friday, May 10. The Bombers go into the match with a record of 5-7.
