Wisconsin High School Softball - Rhinelander loses to Lakeland
May 9, 2024: Minocqua, WI 54548 The Lakeland Thunderbirds softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Rhinelander Hodags to 2 in the Thunderbirds league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Lakeland moves its record to 11-7 on the year. The Thunderbirds host Mosinee (Mosinee, WI) to clash with the Indians in a Great Northern game on Friday, May 10. The Indians come into the game with a record of 16-0. Mosinee won 9-4 in their recent non-league game against Pacelli (Stevens Point, WI)
In their next game, the Hodags clash with the Tomahawk Hatchets (Tomahawk, WI) in a Great Northern game, on Tuesday, May 14. Rhinelander will attempt to move on its 1-14 season record.
