May 9, 2025: Cedar Springs, MI 49319 The Cedar Springs Red Hawks baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Comstock Park Panthers to 4 in the Red Hawks non-league win on Friday.
The Red Hawks now own a 3-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wyoming for a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. Cedar Springs will play a Wolves team coming off a 7-1 league loss to Wayland (Wayland, MI). The Wolves record now stands at 9-5.
With the defeat, Comstock Park drops to 8-7 on the year. The Panthers host Hopkins (Hopkins, MI) to play the Vikings in a Ottawa-Kent - Silver test on Tuesday, May 13. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 17-6. Hopkins won 18-0 in their recent league test against Godwin Heights (Wyoming, MI)
